KWALE, County—Police in Samburu, Kinango Sub-County, Kwale County, have launched investigations into the killing of a man aged over 70 who was reportedly hacked with machetes in Madewani village, Chigato area.
The elderly man sustained serious injuries during the attack and later succumbed to his wounds.
The incident was reported to police, who are investigating the circumstances surrounding the killing.
The motive of the attack and the identity of the attackers remained unclear, with no information immediately available on whether any suspects had been arrested.
The body of the deceased has been taken to the Kinango Sub-County Hospital mortuary, as police continue with investigations into the incident.
